1Be Respectful
Treat others with respect. Do not harass, bully, threaten, demean, or intimidate anyone. Disagreement is fine; abuse is not.
2Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content
The following are strictly prohibited and will be removed, with accounts subject to immediate suspension or termination: hate speech or content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics; harassment, bullying, threats, or incitement of violence; sexually explicit content, nudity, or pornography; child sexual abuse material or any sexualization of minors (reported to authorities without exception); graphic violence or gore; content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders; and content that is unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
3No Illegal or Dangerous Activity
Do not use Bustlely to facilitate illegal activity, including the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or stolen goods; human trafficking or exploitation; fraud or scams; or the organization of dangerous or unlawful acts. Do not solicit or promote commercial sex. Do not organize or promote gambling for money, and do not provide alcohol, cannabis, or other age-restricted products to anyone under the legal age.
4Hosting Responsibly
If you host or organize something, describe it honestly — including where it is, what it costs, how physically demanding it is, and any real risks. Follow venue rules, permits, capacity limits, and local laws, keep plans updated, and cancel promptly if you cannot go ahead. If alcohol will be served, mark the activity 21+ and never serve anyone under the legal drinking age. If you host at home, use "Hide exact location until people join" so only attendees see your address. Do not use activities as a pretext for selling, recruiting, or soliciting. Hosts are responsible for their activities; Bustlely does not organize or supervise them.
5Places, Pins, and Notes
When you share a place, pin, or condition update, keep it accurate and useful. Do not pin private homes, places without public access, or anyone’s personal location; do not encourage trespassing or ignoring closures; and do not post misleading conditions that could put people at risk.
6Honest Reviews
Review only activities you actually attended, and keep it about the experience. No personal information, harassment, threats, or discriminatory remarks, and no reviews offered in exchange for anything of value or written to retaliate. Negative reviews are welcome when they are honest.
7No Spam, Scams, or Manipulation
Do not post spam, run scams or phishing, engage in deceptive or fraudulent conduct, artificially inflate engagement, or use bots or automated means to access or manipulate the Platform. Do not solicit money or personal or financial information from other users.
8Authenticity and Impersonation
Be yourself. Do not impersonate other people, brands, or organizations, create fake or misleading profiles, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation. You must be 18 or older to use Bustlely.
9Privacy and Consent
Respect others’ privacy. Do not share anyone’s private or personal information without their consent ("doxxing"), post intimate images without consent, or record or share private communications without permission. Only share content you have the right to share.
10Safety When Meeting In Person
Bustlely helps people find real-world activities, but your safety is your responsibility. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, do not share sensitive personal or financial information, and trust your instincts. Bustlely does not conduct background checks or verify identities, and a "Photo verified" badge only means a selfie matched the profile photo. If you feel unsafe, leave. Do not join activities or spaces with an age limit you do not meet. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
11Reporting and Blocking
You can report content or users, and block users, directly in the app — including other attendees of an activity. If something happened at a meetup or you feel unsafe, choose "I feel unsafe / something happened in person": those reports are reviewed first. Reporting sends the content and context to our safety team; blocking prevents that user from contacting you, seeing your activity, or joining activities you host or attend. You can also email safety@bustlely.com with urgent safety concerns. Please report anything that violates these Guidelines — reports help keep the community safe, and we do not tolerate retaliation for good-faith reports.
12How We Enforce
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior and aim to act on them within 24 hours, prioritizing reports involving child safety or immediate danger. Actions may include removing content, ejecting or banning the offending user, and reporting to law enforcement where appropriate. We may filter, remove, or restrict content and suspend, restrict, or permanently delete accounts, in our sole discretion, with or without notice. Serious or repeated violations result in permanent removal. When we finish reviewing a report you made, we let you know in the app whether we took action; to protect everyone’s privacy, we do not share what action we took.
